My wife got me a Caffe Vita coffee subscription. It's only one 12oz bag per month, but since I only brew at home on weekends, it should cover a decent chunk of the month. If I was going to get a tea one I'd be tempted to try the Teabox subscription. I had a sampler pack of their teas once, and they were all pretty good.

It's that time of year when a lot of people are away, there is an unholy amount of turkey to get through and Royal Mail have a quadrillion parcels to deliver causing a ton of disruptions. To avoid posties getting lost/missed/stolen by elves/going stale we're taking the opportunity to re-coup and allow our Cheese umpa lumpas time to re-fuel and get obscenely fat/drunk (as if they need an excuse).

Similarly, why you would need a bed that is extra-easy to move (although not like so easy that you don't still have to carry three presumably moderately heavy pieces of pressboard).

There is probably an edge case where hauling around brackets and legs from dorm to studio to group home to etc etc is more practical than moving whole pieces of furniture - but I don't know if that edge case merits a premium on hardware

I just feel like the "I move every year" demographic is not the "$435 bedframe plz" demographic. I mean I'm a stable professional family man and we still sleep on a simple captains bedframe we got for around $75 off craigslist. And that shit has DRAWERS motherfucker, technology these Floyd folk are still decades away from developing.

You could move a lot and get a new shitty coffee table (with the actual table table) from the nearest op-shop or w/e each time before you'd hit $179.

The clamping furniture is a solid idea, if you could buy it for 1/5th the price at Lowe's and pick out some wood to stain while you're there.

tbh, people moving yearly or bi-yearly should be encouraged to not try to keep up w/ western norms while doing that. Fuck it, get a couple of real Japanese futons, some tatami mats and just live on the floor.

Yeah I'm actually surprised I couldn't easily find (through google) a similar, cheaper version. Shouldn't be much more expensive than any other set of metal table legs. Someone will probably get on that soon.

Also with all the effort of finding a piece of wood to use you could probably just as easily find a trash-pickable coffee table.
