The white walkers were sick (i've forgotten what they're called in the books now lol grrm suck it) and i'm glad that only the leaders get that fake CGI eye glow

, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 03:41 (eleven years ago)

U see why they need a giant fuxking ice wall now it's because the little walls get punched thru or overthrown

I like how logical it all is

, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 03:51 (eleven years ago)

the wall is big and good

lag∞n, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 03:51 (eleven years ago)

Yah

I wonder if the walkers were attracted to the dragon glass

, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 03:55 (eleven years ago)

I think they were attracted to Jon snow. He's really pretty

Karl Malone, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 04:08 (eleven years ago)

Ya I would white walk for him any day of the very very very long westerosi year!!!!!

, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 04:11 (eleven years ago)

wildling groucho pops up next to white walker holding a mauve mist blouse
"winter is coming... but darling YOU are no winter; let's get you into something with some color"
*offcamera arterial spray douses them*
"well, red's hardly my color but you carry it well. in fact you're carrying me well. is that my neck in your mouth or are you just glad to see me", etc etc

tsrobodo, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 08:22 (eleven years ago)

can someone explain to me quickly how the high septon suddenly has enough power to imprison the king's mother, wife and brother-in-law without any resistance

I think it's very strongly implied that Tywin was doing most of the work keeping the Lannisters propped up and without him they're pretty short on muscle, especially having been just been through a war on two fronts, and with Jaime elsewhere there's no one who might rally people. And they're in mad debt. Basically she built them up because she was isolated and weakened and that's backfired.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 08:52 (eleven years ago)

What am I looking at there, a dragon? xp

While jokingly broached this past ep, show has not done a great job explaining why Dragon Queen wants to rule jack shit. Like, fuck Westeros, right? If anything, this season has really shined the spotlight on all sorts of places and people who couldn't give a poop about the Iron Throne.

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 13:58 (eleven years ago)

it's her home and the seat of her dynasty's rule. makes sense to me.

Mordy, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 13:59 (eleven years ago)

they literally made a big show of explaining why she wants to rule westeros this very ep and the answer is she doesnt

lag∞n, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:01 (eleven years ago)

OK, so she wants to "break the wheel." Why? What does that mean?

Also, given that she is the Last Dragon (more or less), it's not like she even has a people who need a homeland. So she's just doing this to "free" Westeros? By way of her divine/dragon rule? She will rule over a free kingdom? I don't quite get it.

Josh in Chicago, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:15 (eleven years ago)

review chapter seven in yr screenwriting manual

lag∞n, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:16 (eleven years ago)

"break the wheel" = marxist revolution

Mordy, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:20 (eleven years ago)

Dragons will probably come in quite useful during the oncoming zombie apocalypse so she's heading for power whether she likes it or not.

Matt DC, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:26 (eleven years ago)

her idealism will be further tested

lag∞n, Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:33 (eleven years ago)

"Break the Wheel" probably means a bunch of nobles w/o heads

Is It Any Wonder I'm Not the (President Keyes), Wednesday, 3 June 2015 14:35 (eleven years ago)

the process of dekulakization needs to start w/ the boltons
