Yeah, great episode, one of the most satisfying for all the stuff they managed to fit in, but it was really dumb of Jon to admit to killing Mance without laying out the circumstances first.

I thought the ice king that Jon smashed came back but it must be a similar looking ice king.

Wondering what percentage of the wildlings survived. Perhaps Jon should have been more careful because maybe without him, none of the wildlings would be allowed back, but maybe the advance of the white walkers changes what crows would allow. Doesn't look like there's a big tribe of giants. That one giant must be hardy as fuck to swim through freezing water.
In season 2 I thought white walkers would simply advance until they killed everyone but obviously they've been doing other stuff, going back and forth. Otherwise they would have killed loads in season 3.

Keeping in mind that the cast of the show have repeatedly said episode 10 is going to have a major shocker that's supposed to be bigger than anything before. I'm going to guess it's not totally due to characters dying. Perhaps something with Arya coming into totally new territory.

I was hoping Cersei will die this season but now I want her to at least get revenge on the Sparrows.

There's a lot to fit into next two episodes. They're called "The Dance of Dragons" and "Mother's Mercy". I presume the mother is either Daenerys or Cersei.

Add to missing list: Brynden Tully. Maybe he'll come in and kill someone.

this was really bad writing. like it's a sensitive situation and he just decides to clown them by announcing he shot an arrow "through his heart", conveniently paving the way for pirate steve to show his trust for him.

also the "he may be prettier than my daughters" thing didn't work too well with that incredibly striking scandinavian-looking female wildling standing there.

Xxxxxp didn't the sparrow guy say 'mother's mercy' is what the tyrells would get if they plead guilty for their sins? I'm guessing it's not actually hugely merciful

Guessing that Cersei thinks it sounds quite nice, confesses to having Lancelot kill Robert, shagging Lancelot etc. and them discovers that it isn't actually that great.

qyburn, her disgraced former maester dude. him saying there's a way out is p much telling her "uhhh youre fucked you should probably confess," but saying "the work continues" is qyburn-code for "your zombie guardian is almost ready"

that said even a frankenclegane could prob be defeated somehow i highly doubt that it just singlehandedly kills all of cersei's 9 zillion enemies

Cersei scene made me think of KISS's "Lick It Up" so that was some kind of positive. The battle scene was a pleasant surprise, although I don't think they shot it very well - all those abrupt/jump-cut shots of people bludgeoning each other, that's not how you do a well-orchestrated battle scene imo

i think the point was that it was m/l a one-sided bloodbath rather than a battle

jamie and brienne each have ones that were melted down from the very big sword i think

brienne and jon have them, jaime took the one that was supposed to be joffrey's i think, a handful of other lords have them

tyrion had a valyrian steel dagger but its prob long gone

eddard's valyrian sword was melted down into 2 by twyin and he gave them to jamie and joffrey. jamie gave his to brienne, and i guess tommen has joffrey's now.

they will prob need another sword or two
