I see someone did the math in the comments to show that its the rent increase, and not the minimum wage increase for workers that is the main issue

Just went by that park where Cesar Chavez hits the 101 and a bunch of nuns were cutting hair for homeless people behind the backstop. One of them was holding a mirror up for a dude in a chair and he was touching his hair looking at it.

where's a good place to live if you need to get Caltrain? got a friend thinking of moving to the city around SOMA/Dogpatch/ Potrero Hill but for me SOMA is the only place I've felt properly nervous walking around alone. Maybe somewhere nearer 24th St Bart?
