one thing i've noticed about college girls in boston (the less-preppy ones at least) is that so many of them wear military-style jackets, i like them!

they range from more stylish to frumpy and imo they all look pretty cool

No doubt! But this isn't gay guys v. women in the objectification sweepstakes. This is two women very, very gently calling out dudes who they know and like for judging women's appearance in a way that they found to be uncool, and one of those dudes being very... interesting in response.

clouds you didn't say boring -- unsexy and frumpy! it's not fair to tell me i'm overreacting when i respond to precisely that -- all i said was that maybe they don't want to attract attention and they are choosing nagl on purpose. i wore a lot of overalls just so people would see me as a walking talking paper bag until they bothered to get to know me. unfortunately, the repellent of overalls was exceptionally strong.
