Bijou made up for it.
Tracy's view of the world was as great as Kenneth's, I think.
― Zero Transfats Waller (Oilyrags), Friday, 27 March 2009 15:38 (seventeen years ago)
it was funny but i didn't get the implication. he is so nihilistic he only sees himself everywhere?
― cutty, Friday, 27 March 2009 15:45 (seventeen years ago)
So was Jack's come to think of it. I almost want to poll that.
nihilistic? I got narcissistic

that's what i meant. wrong word.

this season has really picked up steam after sagging a bit in the middle imo.
― Blackout Crew are the Beatles of donk (jim), Friday, 27 March 2009 15:54 (seventeen years ago)
in fact i'd say the last 3 or 4 episodes have been the best run this season.
― Blackout Crew are the Beatles of donk (jim), Friday, 27 March 2009 15:55 (seventeen years ago)
i'd say every week is a beautiful gift and this show never sags

also: Chicago-related jokes on this show are always A++ and approaching insider-y for Chicagoans, which made me (for some insane reason) almost disappointed that the slice of pizza in the phone-sex ad was deeply non-Chicagoan
― nabisco, Friday, 27 March 2009 22:10 (seventeen years ago)
(Polish phone-sex = semi-Chicago joke, but one that'd be just as applicable in plenty of other places)
― nabisco, Friday, 27 March 2009 22:11 (seventeen years ago)
I'm kinda disappointed that the ad isn't really available on youtube.

I just got caught up on the last two weeks & both were fine episodes, but I have to say that I was so geeked for the return of Dennis Duffy that I was basically priming myself for disappointment. Sure, there were a few hard lols, but somehow this didn't quite rank as classic Duffy, which was probably effected by having to wait so long into the season to see the man.
Best part of either episode: the world through Kenneth's eyes, followed closely by Liz's phone-sex advert. 1-900-OKFACE!
ENBB, this is 4 U:

"One word: Coffee. One problem: Where do you get it??"
Is about as classic Dennis Duffy as it gets imo.
