apple have totally lost their way. no one is looking at a £500 klunky komputer wristwatch as cool. they used to only do cool produtcts. Jobs would never have stood for this shit.

i dont own one so i cant speak from personal experience but: antenna lines on the back, raised camera lens, the thing thats the worst tho imo is how the edges curve out for like what reason its the oddest nonsensical use of space espcailly for a device that is already big (compare to the 3 where they gently sloped in to rest peacfully in the hand), also just generally looks kinda generic and bad

i was making some interaction mockups the other day and the software i was using has an image of a hand holding the iphone framing the interactions and i was all why do they have this generic phone image some sort of copyright thing i guess i have to paste an image of the real iphone over it then when i googled to find an image i realized that is the real iphone lol looks like an samsung

I agree the antenna lines and raised camera are incongruous but I think they've finally settled into the fact that people put cases on these things and used that as an affordance

there is def a good argument against flat edges but these are not good rounded ones, general shape of the 1-3 was obvs the best

also spelling chic as "sheek" is pretty good

no I had the 3 and used the 1 a lot, the rounded edges were the exact size as a bar of soap when it reaches maximum slippery droppability imo

3gs still the best shape imo, if only it wasn't so plasticky cheap feeling

I just don't care that much about the form factor. As long as the new model is faster, got a better camera, some other new feature, etc, then I'm happy.

I tried selling my 3gs to one of those mail-in services and it got rejected due to a crack in the plastic down the back

5/5s is my favorite in terms of design

tbh I even like the 5c design

I like how it doesn't feel so fragile and vulnerable, the only recent iPhone that doesn't feel like it needs a case

btw as newer iPhone users my wife and I got otterboxes for our 5ss but when they arrived in the mail we had to say gtfo with this clunky-ass garbage, fuck these ugly cases

we sent them back

i didn't use a case for a year with my 5, still haven't with my 6, cases are so unnecessary

for the 6+ it's essential to have a case or it will slip right out. something super slim and lo pro tho with some grip, like the incipio feather.

i6 designs are pretty lame i agree. 5 was the best cos it was like the 4 but slightly slimmer and slightly lighter. still like the way that one looks/feels.
