I'm just posting this because I'm unduly delighted by it. I'm white:

1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. Bb5 a6 4. Ba4 b5 5. Bb3 Nf6 6. Bd5 h6? {This move just seems to waste time, my bishop isn't even able to move yet!} 7. Nxe5 Qe7 8. Nxc6 Qc5 9. Na5 c6 10. d4 Qb4+ 11. Bc3! {And now black queen is trapped -- no matter where it moves, it will be taken the next turn, not even Bb4 would help (and no, I didn't realize this until after I had moved).} Qxa1 14. He could have had the satisfaction of b1=Q but it would still have been Qxg7# the next move -- there was no way to avoid that.

I'm sure my opening idea, of grabbing his rook with the bishop, could have been defeated otherwise, but I think this is why that 4...b5 is discouraged.

My victory over Teh Hobb reminds me of the time Jimmy White defeated Hendry 10-3 early on in the World Championships a few years back, after crashing out to him so many times before.

When you stuck your bishop next to the pawn that couldn't take it because your queen would have put me in check. I thought I'd lost then, so I just went on a kamikaze mission with my queen. But I could have just moved that pawn towards your queen. We'd have swapped queens and I'd have lost a pawn. I sob.
