And she has some amazing moments in the (v. good) Untucked this week as well. Best Untucked of the season so far too, everything really is gelling, and the new tone of Untucked really is starting to work wonders.

i thought pearl's lip sync was terrible but it's hard for trixie to hang her hat on her "talent" when she gakked on every challenge

i did think tan moms was by far the best concept tho

it doesn't really seem like there are any superstars in this group which is usually fairly obvious at this point. feel like you could pick some of the final few from past seasons and they would be shoo ins to win. alaska for instance is many times better than any of these queens.

but i also dont think they are necess. un-talented. i think there's just clumps of queens who are all good at similar things rn

The most nonsensical results I've ever seen: first, Jaidynn should've won, and second, Trixie destroyed Pearl in the lipsync, and I was sure that Ru would say that this week would be a non-elimination. I didn't even like the Pearl Comes Alive moment, because her energy just didn't have shape to it. (Kandy should definitely have been lipsyncing, though.)

Yeah this was the strangest elimination because it was very, very clear that Trixie was outdoing Pearl.

Anyway, the new Untucked has some moments! Ups, downs, all arounds. Also the first message from a loved one to one of the queens (at least broadcast; there's a mention that Kasha got a message the previous time).

I am now rooting for Katya to make top 3. Pearl too, but I'm probably seeing something that's just not there. By that I mean my hand in hers.

My general faves are all still in there -- Katya, Ginger, Max, Jaidynn -- so bring it on. I'd be happy with them as a top four.

I'm really over Jaidynn tbh. Replace her with one of the ice queen trifecta and that'd be a solid top 4.

Man, I like her because she's fun. Not as inventive visually, I grant. (Of said ice queens, if Pearl goes before Violet I will threaten something or someone.)

Kandy's lipsynch was good but she hasn't done anything otherwise. She's just there. She should've been up against Pearl two weeks ago and sent home.
MKD wasn't my favorite but I think that she had more in her than they showed us. Her Joan Rivers was great. I wish they would've kept her and Trixie at least untill Snatch Game.

Oh man, I didn't even think of that. This Snatch Game's going to be a. train. wreck.

MKD's suburban mom realness was hilarious to me... she wouldn't have made the top 5 or anything but she cracked two jokes *after* being eliminated which is more than you can say for kandy ho in the entire season

Right but, as I said, it was like the third or fourth time she joked about boxed wine.

But jokes about boxed wine are just like boxed wine: you can't stop at just one!

BTW, Max is the last person on the show I'd expect to ever see in a backwards ball cap.
