i maintain that they shd just release entire runs of a show on the same day its better in a lot of ways and in fact there shd be infinite episodes of any show

Review copies? Why is there review copies? I thought tv critics watched everything with the rest of us, apart from special premieres of a first episode that only a relative few will see along with the big fans.

I was wondering why there were suddenly a number of episodes available.
Thought it might be like a Netflix multiple episodes released at the same time thing like Orange is the New Black seems to do & I think Daredevil just did. Or is that another case of this?

This is quite a spoiler sensitive thing so I don't see what good giving critics more episodes is going to do, especially if it increases the risk of leaking.

It just takes the pressure off of the first episode representing the entire season. Sopranos always screened the first four episodes for critics, to give a sense of the overall tone/plot/etc for the new season.

That makes sense I suppose but at this point I don't think this show needs it.

Oh Jesus do I watch all four over the next few days then have to wait five weeks till the next one or do I try and eke them out, this is the hardest decision anyone has ever had to make.

I'm happy to wait week by week, but let's see if there's a cliffhanger or something and I might change my mind.

As for different threads, I think they should fully combine in season six, no? Maybe give this one more year of separation? I haven't read the books though so if those in the know think it's so far beyond it doesn't matter we should consider.

Feel like chaining the first four would be the worst approach to take because you're then just waiting a month for more episodes. On the other hand, chaining the first four...

I watched one last night - then I watched another and it was 2am, later than I'd ever stay up if I am not out. The choice becomes pretty easy when you've watched one episode and enjoyed it.

The show is just coasting now, in a good way.

although at times I've started to feel visually reminded of The New Adventures Of Hercules, not solely due to Dario though he is definitely a big culprit.

Also can I just say again, that beardy wildling guy reminds me of Pirate Steve from Dodgeball.
