I'd just moved into a new flat that looked kinda like a school classroom, and it was full of bookcases, so kinda like a school library. Then I discovered who my room-mate was, I hadn't been expecting to have to share, it was Momus. I was about to move out, as I thought there had been some sort of mistake, but I decided to stay, though by this time the room was full of Mo's pals all totally ignoring me. However, then he got a book of the shelf "Introduction to Information Management", and I was quite annoyed and asked him if he was taking the piss, then I woke up.

I'm at a cottage in Northern Ontario that I usually go to in summertime. I'm hanging around by the dock/shoreline, and I'm chatting with TOMBOT (whom I've never met). TOMBOT is putting beer and ice into the boat, as one does in these situations (an aluminum rowboat, not fancy). Then I notice a whole lot of frogs around. There's the regular ones that are a common sight at the cottage anyway, and then there's these really big yellow-ish ones. The big ones can't leap very well, and tend to have a wonky leg. TOMBOT tells me it's because they are paralysed. I accept this explanation. The dream kinda fades after that.

Jerry the Nipper was one of the partygoers who was trying to fight off the zombies, and he was saying that even though the zombies were very real they were still a metaphor for relationships gone wrong. I blame his article for FT, "Passing Through".

When the ride was over, I was the last one on the boat. A pigeon was next to me. I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING and the pigeon was pecking my leg. I just tried to walk away. The pigeon flew up to my arm and was trying to peck my face! I put my hand in front of my face. The pigeon began pecking faster. I pushed it. It flew. Came back. For some reason, I had my violin case with me. I grabbed it. There is an out side pocket on my case. I opened it, the pigeon flew inside, I zipped up the pocket, and I suffacated the pigeon. I threw it in the water.
Then I went hicking with my mom and one of her friends. We got lost, and I was trying to make something, but didn't have everyting I needed. Then some Stone Temple Pilots song was playing in the backround. My mom got mad at me. She made me, and only me, eat all of this cardboard. The worse part was, there was paint on it. I ate it.
Some how, I ended up in a building with three other people. We were all to eat ice cream. One person took all of the one flavor I liked out of the three that were there. Some old woman and I asked if he'd give us some. He kept most of it, gave a resonable amount to the old woman, and as for me, I got two table spoons!!

Last night I had lots of weird dreams, all fairly horrible (I was shot twice, both by people close to me). When they brightened up a bit I was in Marks and Spencers with an employee showing some £25 vanilla body lotion to me and Momus and Dido.

but sarah was really really drunk, and so none of my suggestions worked. the best part was when she saw a brightly lit pedestrian bridge in the distance and shouted 'let's go climb the mackinac bridge!' which left mark and i in hysterics.
awwww.

Then I noticed someone passing me on a normal bike. This person was chattering on a cell phone with an earpiece and microphone. And then I realized that this person on the bike must be Ally, because she was a she, and over her shoulder she was carrying some dry-cleaning that had a big label that said TOMBOT but in the style of Talbot's: http://a1389.g.akamai.net/7/1389/2573/20010329163324/www.talbots.com/images/upper_nav/talbots_logo.jpg
Then later I dreamed that Maryland had won the ACC tournament, which pissed me off so much that I woke up. (NB I have never met Ally or TOMBOT nor was I drunk)

i dreamt i was at some kind of magician/soothsayer/charlatan festival and some guy had a list of tricks he could perform and one of them was "Dom Passantino's balls in your mouth: believe it or not"
and takers for this particlar trick were given a small round green ball slightly larger but similar in texture to an olive.
and they just couldn't believe it! "wow! i really thought i had dom's balls in my mouth!" they marvelled.
i didn't try it.
