I saw Dave B at Euston station, as I was going to wow indiegirls at Club Seal thingy. I almost succeeded in ruining his entire weekend away as well, by suggesting a "quick pint", but sense clearly got the better of him.

Minutes later I saw Pete and The Lovely Emma B outside the Islington Academy. They had been to see a heartwarming film about the Rwandan genocide.

When I said 'it would ruin my weekend', I was joking but as things turned out, had I gone for that pint, I would prolly have ended up at club seal, and that would have without a shadow of a doubt wrecked my weekend. I went home and made a discovery that saved my weekend. Hurrah for being an old fart and being sensible.

i saw pj miller the other day, across the traffic light, after work. i was informed that i was the first ever impromptu ilxor encountered randomly by pj miller which made me felt very priviledged.

Impromptu anybody, Ken, not just ILX person. And I meant in London. I have often bumped into people in my home village and even places as big as Barcelona and Glasgow, but never London. I thought it was impossible.

I have never Impromptuly Sighted either an ILxer OR a Sinisterxor. I briefly thought I saw Chewshabadoo at a poetry slam the other night, but it wasn't him in the end.

However when I was in Cambridge with non-Impromptu ILxers, I did Impromptuly Sight two OTHER people I knew.

I saw o.nate at the 6th ave/14th street subway station today. He was coming back from record shopping in Williamsburg at the store where DAEREST RECORD STORE GURL used to work. He had some free jazz. Yes, luckily the flight was delayed due to some air-controller mishap in Philly, so all was well. I ran into Dan later, because his gate was next to mine. Unfortunately, his delay was a bit worse, since he had to make a connection. It was also somewhat funny to hear over the PA system a voice saying "Passenger Tetsuo Yamasuka please report to gate 24 immediately" - so apparently we weren't the only ones cutting it close.
