If the idea of Keanu Reeves as a combination of Clark Kent, Superman, and the Messiah doesn't entertain you, then you are one tough audience.

leaving aside the second and third films, the matrix is pretty great because it introduced lots of people to basic philosophical conundrums without them even realizing it. not every blockbuster action movie can claim a real connection to descartes and baudrillard and plato, and that's pretty cool.

Plot details are currently unknown, as is how the role of Morbius will be handled, originally played by Laurence Fishburne. Some sources say the role may be recast for a younger take.
