Nhex: Yeah, to make it fast the thread view shows a plain text version without HTML. iOS 8 (and faster phones) are making it more likely that I can do real-time HTML, but I couldn't make it work for this version. Favourite boards you can set from the "show all boards" view (press the star). I, er, forgot you could do that on the web too, I'll try and make them sync up.

fwiw I run iOS 8.1.3 on my 4s with no problems, new Zing is running fine for me

my 4s seems to do best when I turn off things in Settings that are uselessly on by default (I don't allow background refresh except for apps I really want to have it, etc.)

When I pull-to-refresh, the problem goes away.

my only quibble is the presence of the yellow exclamation point, feels like it contrasts with all the nice new clean design... maybe replace it with the "square with three horizontal lines" type of logo that usually connotes "menu" in most apps/mobile sites?

so of course I walk out there and she's got her ass in the air while this scrawny indie fop WEARING A TRUCKER HAT AND NOTHING ELSE is attempting to INSERT HIS COCK IN HER ASS.

ON MY COUCH

I go out and this sight actually caused me to go "oh ugh god!" My roommate tumbled out of her awkward position onto the floor landing on her shoulder and Trucker Hat fell to his side with a grunt. my roommate shrieked "what are you doing home?!" and scampered into her room, almost on all fours, past me. she slammed the door behind her. Trucker Hat gathered his pants and RAN INTO THE KITCHEN

of course i followed him and he was sputtering "sorry dude sorry dude" and I just said "let me get my sandwich and you go clean up MY couch!" he again said "sorry sorry sorry" and ran out of the kitchen and to the bedroom, he pounded on the door and asked to be let in, and my roommate let him in.

I thought about writing an iOS alt-zing just as a project for myself to learn iOS development and this new version has pretty much every feature I would have wanted to implement

that is to say, it is excellent

My issues:

-Please consider adding an option for a thicker font. So hard to read. I'm finding it easier to just go back to the web version, at least I can zoom in on it.
-Did you use to retain the title of the thread at the top when you loaded it? The way it is now, I click and if I forgot what thread I'm in I have to go all the way back to the top, then back down to where I was to read the thread.
-When loading a thread the info/status bar at the bottom covers up the bottom half of the last post. Small thing, but an annoyance all the same.
