The book isn't really finishable but it's interesting that it exists in that it's like what if an idiot wrote a book, like a really stupid person like Homer Simpson or someone, and they weren't even quite sure what a novel actually is or how basically anything works but they managed to write it anyway and there are three of them

and the third one is called fifty shades freed and the best way I can make that makes sense is that at some point the author decided that the protagonist is actually called "fifty shades"

She had a good theory, though, that this book came out just as or after the Kindle sort of crossed over, so it was the first time a lot of women could purchase and consume erotica (or more specifically, erotica vetted to be relatively "safe") privately. No one knew what you were reading on the train, etc. That it happened to be a POS, like so many other gateway breakthroughs, was almost beside the point.
