I was kind of startled by how thoroughly they committed to Machete Man and that he didn't actually murder anyone in the Battlestar Galactica/Star Trek section

well, he's killed by the laser eyebeam cat which triggers the universe move into BSG/Space:2099 territory... though i guess that transmorphs him into the evil alien race...
i love that there's so many ideas in this, damned if i know if they actually amount to anything

the sci fi bit really is the standout

I really hated that turn as well. Really glad I didn't fall asleep watching King of the Hill or whatever and then wake up to take a pee at 3 in the morning with this stuff on. Reminded me of an episode of Squidbillies from back in 05 or 06 where everybody caught on fire and the whole show just came to a grinding halt focusing on their burnt bodies. I mean, for all I know, that describes every episode of Squidbillies, but it was a big factor in deciding not to renew my cable subscription that fall.

btw this is a lot better than the other fake infomercial they did with the "salad shakers" which was truly awful

I caught a similar vibe to the "Horse Apples" episode of Wonder Showzen, and so I assumed it was put together by the same guys who did WS, Delocated, Xaviar and The Heart She Holler. WRONG.

I've seen every episode of WS, Xavier, and Heartshe Holler, but I only ever watched the pilot of Delocated and it didn't grab me. I didn't actually realize it was also a PFFR thing until now. Does it get super weird? Do you guys love it?

(Oh - if it's relevant - I love the Tim & Eric stuff, unlike I guess you guys)

It mostly made me wish I caught it accidentally at 4 am while on whatever drugs had me still up at 4 am because that would have been pretty amazing.
