It may be hard to tell but they're actually blue (Elizathbeth Arden - thank god for the flexy arms that don't break easily). I feel pressured to replace them with the standard issue ILX glasses.

Yeah, mine are gold but the frames are pretty much the same shape, etc. And of course mine are the cheap non-flexy kind.

this creepy thing is stupid. i find the whole guilt thing far more disturbing. there is nothing wrong with telling people they are attractive (or some other quality), especially when they've posted a picture of themselves up with surely SOME hope that they'll attract compliments. i suppose the problem is some people get it more than others and that can be disheartening for some but such is life. there's also the repetition thing - same people on these threads every time, it's like either 'OK you're hot, we get it!' - but i don't think anyone here is THAT ego-centric and it's good natured really.

fwiw, it was the facetiousness in combination with genuine responses that escalated it to the point of real discomfort. Michael Jones' original compliment was actually a very nice one (so he shouldn't feel bad). In any case, it's fine.
