Harrelson is a pretty terrific actor compared to walking-dead hacks like Anthony Hopkins and Al Pacino

i'm a lot more down w/ casting farrell than vaughan

vince vaughan will be really interesting i think! he has this quickness. & that kinda unbeautiful frame thing, like intimidating bulk & but too sorta sloppy to be intimidating.

Farrell perfectly capable of playing the standard "in over his head" noir gumshoe--no idea what he'll be playing tho of course. Never liked vaughn in anything so I hope the character something new for him.

yeah Farrell's great i think. loved him in Miami Vice and In Bruges and had no idea it was even the same guy til ages after.

and looking over his resume dude just has awful taste in roles. Phone Booth, Seven Psychopaths, Saving Mr. Banks, the Fright Night remake, S.W.A.T. blech the guy is just gross on every level

Well he's a shitty actor with a strong Mel Gibson vibe about him, for starters. And then there was the time my mom insisted on seeing that movie where he stands in a phone booth for two hours. Two hours. Maybe it was 90 minutes. Either way ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME???? I was so irate walking out of that movie theater.

in bruges and miami vice both own very hard and even if he is a knit cap in warm weather with silver hoop earrings kind of guy i cant hold that against him, he prob has tribal tattoos idk
