yeah I mean at the truly high end you can get some pretty attractive complication watches in the $300,000-$1M+ range

once saw a picture of a complication watch, felt desire to possess it, learned it cost as much as a house

sure but their goal should be to convince someone like me I'm missing out by not having a cool watch not impress that small segment of rich dudes who already love watches

ya im just saying as a watch its not a very good design, but maybe thats okay since its not really a watch

watch enthusiasts have reason to dislike this right, since apple's goal is to kill non-apple watches dead

friend of mines dad owns a million dollar watch plus a bunch of $100k+ ones, grody

part of the problem might be that it's too cheap at $350, even poor people can afford it

they should make a U2 version for $5000

If there's a way to integrate the charger with the iPhone charger that could help w/ some of the concerns about battery life

actually I really don't care about battery life, just charge it everynight w/ your phone, what's the big deal there

yeah but i dont want that huge phone, they cld make the normal one like 1/3 thicker and triple the battery life and people who fuck w their phones all day wld love it

or people who just want their charge to last for a few days w/o worrying about it

I dunno one issue I just thought of is that for people whose clothing doesn't have pockets, to check your phone is a hassle. my wife complains all the time about how even woman pants don't have pockets, or at best have very small pockets, so she has to keep her phone in a purse/bag/whatever, and so getting it out is a pain. so that could be a market for this thing...I don't know whether it's going to be fashionable for women though (it just looks like an iPod nano on your wrist doesn't it?)

btw iphone now a two hand device pretty big change, this reachablity feature sounds like garbage extra taps just to use it people just gonna use two hands

every time you press a button in Reachability mode, the app “window” zooms back up to the top of the screen, and you have to double tap again to re-enable Reachability and press the button again.

Don't really have an opinion about this WATCH tbh but I use/need a watch and wear a cheapie fitness watch all the time. I need to manage my time and checking my phone is rude vs glancing at my wrist

also yeah I have a chest strap HR monitor and it's def cumbersome

didn't say they "would" love this, just wondered if the appeal is different if getting your phone out is a hassle
