Oh jeez. I'm scared of that stuff. My mother-in-law mentioned it on saturday when we were talking about Christmas presents for my kid. The commercial said "there's no mess" and I'm like "you didn't test this on kids, did you?"

Haha! My mother-in-law said the same thing to me a month after I had discovered it at a toy store. I wasn't impressed and August hated the texture.

tbh adorno probably was a dick. this hardcore marxist dude i knew in college would get in so many drunken arguments with people. i was talking about some jazz records i bought and this dude was like "WELL DO YOU KNOW WHAT ADORNO HAS TO SAY ABOUT JAZZ???" from what i know "adorno on jazz" is Something I Just Don't Care About.

have stopped giving a shit who the president is, full stop. it's the sort of thing that only matters if you have something to lose or gain and there are too many variables for it to make a difference apart from perceived changes influenced by opinion and political voodoo

If you live in the USA, then you do have many things to lose if the Republicans have full control of the Congress and the White House. Things like clean air and water enforcement, safeguards against discrimination in the workplace, a functioning Labor Relations Board, OSHA, a Social Security system not handed over to Wall Street and the big banks to plunder, higher fuel efficiency standards on new autos, public lands not sold out to private investors. The list is very long tbrr.

oh yes of course, but i mean the president specifically. the greater interlocking machinations of the kyriarchy have a much more profound influence obv.

'the interview' otm, it's actually amazing how swiftly certain types of people on social media how swiftly and without a noticeable decrease in outrage levels have shifted their gaze from ferguson/eric garner/the corrupt police state & judicial system to "hey sony pulled a rogen/franco from release!"
