i thought this thread was a joke at first

admittedly i care a lot about demi lovato's wonderful song "really don't care"

i am in favor of fine dining (real fine dining with white tablecloths and multiple courses and formalwear) although i've never really partaken. one day i'd like to make a serious investment in the kind of meal/service i'll remember for years.

sadwiches and other "clever" wordisms that pop up in articles other people post on my FB page...I just don't care enough for your new word mash-up to actually read the article.

It seems like the older I get, the less I care about other people's (casual) opinions on subjective things (entertainment, art, music, which side should the toilet paper be on, etc.).

Also, it was such a long time ago since I cared for what 'famous'/celebrities or even semi-famous people do or say. It's rare these days, I guess

I would say humanity but they constantly make beautiful music and make wondrous inventions like e-ink, adjustable spanners and easily available pornography. But still humanity.

according to the search data i've gathered from my work, people really seem to care about celebrities' height and net worth. i kinda get the "how insanely rich is this person" part but it's never occurred to me to care about how tall someone is.

which really means you aren't actually very far away from it, so you do care about it, as something that makes you uncomfortable enough you feel release by saying you don't. this question and thread invites us to lie.

reminds me of the classic college dorm room discussion in which some bright young person insists that when anyone engages in an act of helping another person, they are bound to feel some sense of satisfaction and pleasure at their altruism, they are in fact acting selfishly and altruism cannot possibly exist.

Haha! My mother-in-law said the same thing to me a month after I had discovered it at a toy store. I wasn't impressed and August hated the texture.
