jjjusten swooped in to suggest that a lazily written piece of clickbait was actually a malicious attempt to make LOLZ out of a story that included rape

i suggested it was just lazily written clickbait copied from another source bc thats how those things tend to work, rather than an intentionally trumped up story

bc jjjusten, croupier, sufjan et al couldn't get people from gawker to respond and i'd made an argument that was close enough to 'defending' gawker and the news story they'd written, they started accusing me of saying a bunch of shit i didn't say, followed by calling me stupid over& over

then it calmed down for a bit and someone posted choire sicha's times editorial suggesting the internet shame book out soon might just be misrepresenting the real problem with social media which is the much more prevalent examples of social media harassing women

i concurred with sicha's article
