i don't know what the hell i was thinking. a lot of the shit i posted back then was me performing characters in my head, sort-of like Bart Simpson when he was locked up in his room for a summer after breaking his leg.

errr, on ILX. it was a creative outlet i guess. i don't want people thinking i believed a lot of the stupid crap i wrote back then, a lot of it was just performance. which i probably care more about than anyone else does.

the fact that everyone knew you were burt stanton w/ a new login but decided to give you a chance at a new life was so heart warming and strangely out of character for this site

xp well, i really appreciate that. i'll do my best to be a legit, quality poster. if anyone wants the burt_stanton thing, if i manage to get my shit together and start writing again it'll probably have some of that flavor. a lot of that was just my old comedy stuff turned into message board content.

how about just being a legit real human being? not a bad place to start? esp if you're talking to people on a very personal thread about mental health issues? i mean.
