I was certain that Elvis Costello was at Avalon for the New York Dolls/Optimo shenanigans, standing way up high above and behind the stage while the bass player for Hanoi Rocks and David Johanson and the rest of the original band plowed through their old numbers. The singer from Suprgrss in Oxford last wednesday with partner and child(ren) in tow, heading to the new Castle development for Krispy Kremes (probably).

Even when it's 'only' the singer from suprgrss (and don't get me wrong I like them amd think them acey, etc.) I still find myself staring at them like an idiot.

Also xpost - I was in a taxi behind Peter S' limo stuck in traffic near Kings X. He got out went and got a paper, went somewhere else to get a coffee and cooly stepped back into his car (which had moved about 100 yrds). I was strangley impressed. But, yes, very orange indeed, also strange coat with odd furlike trim.
