both sides had "chances" but the desire to not get beat obv outweighed more reckless attempts to win it. don't feel like either side set out determined to reach penalties.

We were never on dis ting tonight. Argentina weren't either tbh. Deadlock. Letting Vlaar take the first penalty the only real mistake from VG. Vlaar was a beast today, flawless, and his tackling nearing perfection at times.

Watched the game with 15 friends in a 100 seats huge screen movie theatre in Amsterdam though, that was something special. Saw the Dutch games exclusively with great (new) friends in great locations, settings. Ever since trashing Spain this has been more than I'd hoped for anyhow. It's been a blast.

Rooting for Germany to win this thing, and no doubt they will.
