I am very happy and grateful for the existence of this app but I wish it had search.

update request: can you make it so that videos wont have audio muted if the ringer is turned off?

while I'm here, does anyone use the bold/italic/quote/code/etc buttons in Zing's post composer? I'm doing the iOS 7-ication now, and it'll be a pain to do all those again if I don't have to

I use italic fairly often.

How hard is it to redo fat-finger trash can button? Because if it's too hard, I see don't go to the trouble and just leave it out.

Thank you! I might actually do it as a new app, the iOS 7 look is pretty different from the old-school one, and I can see people preferring the old-school one, at the expense of getting any new features.

i seem to recall there were some challenges doing search in the app? that's the main feature i'd love to see.

Yeah; the version I'm working on has filtering of loaded threads, which is a step in the right direction (eg for any of the threads Zing knows about you can find them by name).

Actually doing Search is a little bit further off.

cad: do you mean on the site proper? It's because we're on both www.ilxor.com and ilxor.com and the code treats those as two different sites (mostly for historical reasons that sometimes prove handy).

If you're logged in on eg ilxor.com and someone makes a link to www.ilxor.com, when you click it you'll get the logged out view. And vice versa.

It's like that one Monty Python sketch where sometimes they are on film and then they go through a door and are on tape.

While Search would be nice, it would be almost as good to be able to view all my bookmarked threads. (Same as clicking the Bookmarks link at the top or bottom of the web view).

could be solved if the links were coded relative rather than abosolute (ie leave off the hostname)
