I wonder if this will have a knock-on effect on their singles careers, Pospisil has been terrible since the injury in Australia and Sock hasn't done much notable this year. Then again I'm always surprised at how doubles success and singles slumps can happen at the same time, I know it's a different game blah blah blah but you'd think the confidence of winning would carry over at least? Hsieh ascended to doubles No 1 this year but fell out of the singles top 100...

Watched the highlights again - v sweet and moving how K wished hbday to her dad.

Great watching some of the faces: Martina (you think she must've found it moving), Bartoli (maybe glad she wasn't on the other end of it), the bloke from the big bang theory (er lol)

First para of the paper: she won 32 K per minute! Well, maybe she was worth every minute?! Pigs should be tied to a chair and made to watch re-runs of this again!

As for Bouchard she was made to look like champion. A girls singles champion, that is. She actually played as well as she could, which is frightening.

Given all that the it was an amazing speech, the blandness and flat-ness was good in its own way. Incredibly mature and aware that she is unlikely to meet someone on the other side of the net who is that good and all time, on the day.

The reality is Djoko-loco: game is a disorganised affair, and so yes its a great chance for Fed.

Hadn't really noticed the Edberg-Becker sideline at all until it was mentioned in the highlights yesterday.

Even aside from form so far, Federer leads their h2h this year (and on grass).

Well Djoko beat Nadal in their one clay final before the French Open so I don't know whether that matters so much.
