Petra should win in straight sets if it was on ability and game alone. But this isn't all about that. She was superior to Maria, but she was the underdog. Lets see how she copes with being the favourite against someone who will take her chance if Petra's mind isn't right.

Kerber/Sharapova was pretty amazing (more for drama than consistent quality). Consensus seems to be Petra/Venus was match of the women's tournament, I didn't see it but I think my favourite just in terms of the tennis is still the Makarova/Date-Krumm R1. Vekic/Vinci and Diyas/CSN were up there too.
