I have only very intermittent access at the moment so forgive the long post but a few thoughts while I'm here:• I was trying to pinpoint why this turning out so good - feel like the lack of refereeing edicts, last-minute new rules, clever new balls, etc. is *a good thing*; but most of all it's like most teams have turned up determined to have a right go and that's where the fun is coming from mostly. A horrible thought: imagine Mourinho were here.• so jealous when Cahill banged that in earlier, or when any other minnow tries something amazing and it comes off. Which feels like every game this time around. I've seen Scotland at four tournaments in thirty years and have like two genuine good memories from them.• feel like Italy might be the secret best team here.• I also feel for Ronaldo, imagine being landed with that shower.• but lol @ u Diego Costa.• pleasing amount of shots being rifled high into the net itt.• footy threads are better for having VegemiteGrrl in them <3
