I would totes follow Dany into battle and not just cause of her supple skin and narcissistic ways

Dreamland, Thursday, 12 June 2014 02:24 (twelve years ago)

I'd follow her bc I don't want to be on the bad side of 3 dragons

Ygritte got a shitty death compared to all the mens.

Was annoyed there was no Manse but at least he got mentioned so perhaps gets his big horn out next week.

Are there no lady giants?

nashwan, Thursday, 12 June 2014 09:27 (twelve years ago)

Jon Snow looks more and more like celebrity food critic Jay Rayner every episode

thomasintrouble, Thursday, 12 June 2014 10:28 (twelve years ago)

Dreamland, Thursday, 12 June 2014 12:35 (twelve years ago)

lag∞n, Thursday, 12 June 2014 12:36 (twelve years ago)

Manse to attack the Wall with tuneless tenor sax renditions of 'Baker Street'.

(I thought a horn had been mentioned in the show before but can't remember now, sorry if not)

nashwan, Thursday, 12 June 2014 12:55 (twelve years ago)

Also ye it is Mance not Manse.

nashwan, Thursday, 12 June 2014 12:57 (twelve years ago)

Mordy, Thursday, 12 June 2014 13:23 (twelve years ago)

haha yeah if it suddenly cut to someone eating a lemon cake after the thenn's head caved in it would be funny

socki (s1ocki), Thursday, 12 June 2014 13:53 (twelve years ago)

half heartedly watching a jester, trying on a new doublet

lag∞n, Thursday, 12 June 2014 13:55 (twelve years ago)

a manse raider is not the most fearsome notion, on a par with 'vicarage intruder' or 'brigand of the rectory'

ogmor, Thursday, 12 June 2014 14:01 (twelve years ago)

Mance Plainer

CANDY REAMER

ian, Thursday, 12 June 2014 17:37 (twelve years ago)

Surprised that I liked the last episode so much, because even though the Wall wasn't one of my favourite plotlines in the books, it manages to be much more boring on the show.

Anyway, Emmy nominations are out.

Actors: For best supporting, Peter Dinklage, Emilia Clarke, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Lena Headey, Charles Dance, Natalie Dormer, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Kit Harington. Surprising omission: Aidan Gillen (Littlefinger), who has been great this season, and has had plenty to do. For guest actors, Pedro Pascal was submitted for Prince Oberyn and Diana Rigg for Lady Olenna.

How is Aiden Gillen the surprise omission when Jack Gleeson's still not up there?!

gyac, Saturday, 14 June 2014 12:52 (twelve years ago)

emmy nominations aren't out btw, that's just who submitted for consideration

balls, Saturday, 14 June 2014 14:23 (twelve years ago)

Yeah that was what I meant.

gyac, Saturday, 14 June 2014 14:28 (twelve years ago)

haha i was like wow that's a lot of nominations, did they fill the entire categories

socki (s1ocki), Saturday, 14 June 2014 14:55 (twelve years ago)

Creamed Yarn new album dropping this winter

Dreamland, Saturday, 14 June 2014 15:14 (twelve years ago)

How is Aiden Gillen the surprise omission when Jack Gleeson's still not up there?!

I'm somewhat sure that the actors themselves decide whether to submit or not. Gleeson, after only being in two episodes and reportedly quitting acting after this, may just not care?

Boris Babacar Diaw-Riffiod (Clay), Saturday, 14 June 2014 21:59 (twelve years ago)

I hope Gleason isn't quitting because of how hated his character is :->

Yeah he's a smart dude. But his disappearance is a giveaway, no? At least make him much more of a suspicion.

better disappear than dead.

Porto for Pyros (The Cursed Return of the Dastardly Thermo Thinwall), Monday, 16 June 2014 05:08 (eleven years ago)

Actually I think just as he's about to leave the docks, he realizes that he's out in public wearing his Varys clothes and thus so easy for spies to notice that he figures, "Ooops, better get scarce."
