Stand-up comedian Donovan Strain has deduced the exact day Ice Cube had a 'Good Day' using clues within the lyrics of the song.[12] Strain claims that, "The ONLY day where: Yo! MTV Raps was on air, it was a clear and smogless day in Los Angeles, beepers or pagers were commercially sold, Lakers beat the SuperSonics, and Ice Cube had no filming commitments was January 20, 1992." Deadspin followed up with some fact checking corroborating the claim.[13]

Questions remain about whether or not the Goodyear Blimp was actually in the air that day around Compton. According to Deadspin, "... one can see the Goodyear blimp—and perhaps its lights—from the 405, which runs through southern LA." But if the blimp was not in the air, its lights were not likely to be on.[citation needed]

Fair nuff. Wasn't criticizing or saying this didn't belong here--just pointing out that I couldn't imagine less interesting details about a person. So yeah, it belongs itt.

He drums in the open-handed style. However his playing style isn't truly open-handed as he still plays his ride cymbal over his right kick drum like a conventional right handed setup as opposed to having it positioned over his hi-hats to be able to be able to play it with his leading hand as a truly open handed player would.

Princip was a Yugoslav nationalist associated with the movement Mlada Bosna (Young Bosnia) which predominantly consisted of Serbs, but also Bosniaks and Croats.[6] During his trial he stated "Nothing really matters, anyone can see. Nothing really matters... nothing really matters to me."[7]

In Penrith, England, a challenge to people you may think are lying used to be to repeat the word "cheese" ten times and if you laugh, you are not telling the truth. This challenge was simply called 'Cheese'.[1]

Not stolen. The original uncropped photo was uploaded to Flickr with a Creative Commons license allowing free use (including 'adaptation', i.e. cropping in this case) provided attribution to the photographer is given. If you click on the photo on Wikipedia, it credits the photographer and there's a link back to the original work.

OK stolen was the wrong term but you know what I meant.

Rabona not glue (aldo), Thursday, 17 July 2014 09:58 (eleven years ago)

Sorry, I just thought that because you used the word 'stolen' you were under the impression it had been used without permission. I agree it's a ridiculous photo to use, especially in that cropped form (and I get the impression that the kind of people who are unaware that something like that looks ridiculous are over-represented on Wikipedia), but the reason they have used it is presumably because there are no other photos of him they could find that weren't subject to usage restrictions, i.e. requiring payment of a fee to use them.

Volume 5 (2000s)

Elliot Roberts and Neil Young have said that the Archives project will extend into a fifth volume, which should include songs from 2009's Fork in the Road and the unreleased Toast album, which was recorded with Crazy Horse in 2000.[3][5][9] However, since it will likely take Young another three or four years to complete Volume 2, the probability that he'll get to a Volume 5 in his lifetime is remote at best.

Probably true, but still kind harsh.

In the first six episodes of the series, a person whose hair covers his face appears in the background of some scenes, such as to the left when Neil gets hit by Vyvyan with a kettle in "Bomb". This was never explained, though it could be suggested it's simply a projection of Neil's isolation from the group. However, such a thought can easily be debunked.
