My feet hurt too much for me to stay out any longer tonight so I am forced to eavesdrop on the loud festivalgoer drama happening in every other room on my hotel floor.

Argh I just tried to go out and my left ankle was in so much pain that I had to turn around and limp back. I'm worried that my plans for the remainder of my trip will be seriously compromised.

haha I've usually gone to bed by the time the friday/saturday night threads start to pick up US posts, which probably says something about how boring my weekends have become

finishing the wine (I did actually cook with it so there wasn't that much in the bottle), reading bottle opener thread, it inspires horror and laughs but sadly not disbelief

just a shame about half of it is mr que being completely worthless and unfunny, just an utter killer of whatever makes threads worth reading

i have to write two papers that i put off for the past two days. will probably be up all night.

what albums do you listen to when you write papers, if any

whenever i write anything i either listen to nothing or extremely contagious, un-challenging pop music that gives me a cheap, quick, unsatisfying sense of happiness. Afterlife by Arcade Fire is a favorite here; another one is Like a Prayer by Madonna. the double shot espressos of music.

i'm kind of a wreck though wins. i got drinks with someone at 5:15 and i knew she had a concert afterwards but i was hoping she'd bail and chill with me the rest of the night instead, meaning that i was hoping to not complete my assignments for this class in grad school. if i wanted to i could write a series of boy_slayeresque posts at this point, but i don't want to
