ryan and i are looking into taking a vacation at the old Beach House

guys. Is the 'new' series worth persevering with? I find it's started out a bit slow and bleeehhhh (only started in the UK 5-6 weeks ago) up until the most recent episode with Adriana's overdose. I can't help but feel Shenae Grimes/Annie is soooo out of place in this show, like she should be back in middle-class Degrassi and not in ostentatious-beyond-belief Beverly Hills. And every time I see Lori Loughlin I feel like I'm watching Full House again because she hasn't aged. At all. So yeah 5-6 episodes in and I'm still unsure of this. Is it worth keeping on with, will it get somewhat more interesting than watching Annie be awkwward all the time and Dixon be horribly mismatched with Silver? No spoilers!

Also, Jessica Walter is a total scene stealer. Nu-0210 needs more grandma and less parents.

salsa, it's not so bad. shenae grimes was a disaster as a choice, but the other girls are cool. the guys are ok (i kind of love dixon and silver).

dad/principal is a tool, as is that ryan guy that all the girls think is so hot (so not).

the overdose episode is definitely one of the best. still trying to figure out exactly how crappy/not the writing is.

i'd say perservere for a little bit.

I feel like its gotten better since the overdose, at least a little anyway.

i've been watching the SoapNet reruns, of the final seasons of this show.

before, i thought the show could never uphold its integrity after losing shannen (altho tiffani was a gift), but boy, have my thoughts on that changed. i find the writing exceptional, the characters fantastic and the leading ladies, in particular, absolutely endearing.

okay i started watching the original show eps on the soap.net channel but there are 2 a day! hard to keep up. theyre up to the classic kelly/brenda/dylan triangle though so its pretty great.

Brenda broke up with Dylan because that Rick guy she met over the summer in France showed up in LA. Dylan admitted there had been 'a girl' over the summer but didnt say who. Then after they broke up Brenda saw D and K on a date and all hell broke loose. Dylan ran away for an episode but then returned. By this time K and B had made up and they all decided to be friends but then Brenda busted D and K making out again and told K that she and Dylan had made out the night before so now theyve given him a 'choose one of us by new years eve' ultimatum. xpost to surm.
nicole, brandon is getting all addicted to gambling right now. Is the ep where Brandon got high the one where crazy emily slipped something into his drink and then he was butthurt about it for like a year worth of episodes?
