Got myself a Nook with a glowlight, fuck me reading in the dark is so good. Reading some prime, misanthropic Houellebecq in the dark on a saturday night and it feels good.

i finished a book earlier, but i haven't even left the house yet today, so i'll be doing that later on

About to leave to pick up a few things at Dollar General. Will be dying my hair (dark brown), but otherwise I have no idea what else I'll be doing tonight.

Watching a movie called Blue Ruin with a very nice six quid bottle of tesco plonk and going to read one of the Stalin books I am going through later. If I am feeling adventurous might take my dog for a late walk.

i know there are tacos in the cards, not sure what else yet.

Man, House is such a terrible show but it's so easy to keep hitting play.

I bought a Roku 3 at Costco today. It's pretty sweet. I started setting it up.

Listening to music. Might watch a movie or a tv show in a few.

I didn't get to Deadwood, gonna have to do it this morning while packing.

Went to the Mt Wilson Observatory, saw a few things through the 60" telescope. Saw Jupiter, Mars, Saturn, the entire Sombrero galaxy (M104), a globular cluster (M3), and the Cat's Eye nebula.

Only Saturn seemed like it would turn out on my point-and-shoot, so it's the only one I attempted (held right up to the eyepiece). It looked much more distinct in person, I could see streaks on its surface and a black band separating the sections of the rings. Seeing Sombrero was the most impressive - an entire galaxy in the view of my puny eye.

i've got to look at some ipad app stuff, eat some munchos and wheat thins with peanut butter, and probably do other shit too

Just bought some groceries which we'll put on June's budget bc we are over in may. Enjoying a midday PBR while doing dishes. Plan to run some simulations later.
