I haven't used it for a few months but the feature on the jawbone band that'd wake you around the designated time when you're already in a lighter phase of sleep worked pretty well.

yeah the abandonments rate for wearables is vv high, like if youre a fitness freak i can see it but its just too easy to stop doing it, speaking as someone w a lonely running watch

I could see wearing it to sleep pretty regularly. I think I was on vacation and just didn't get back in the habit when I got home. Great alarm clock.

The Braun story is a bit complicated, but it was bought by Gilette and first flourished and then foundered under them. The non-shaver stuff today is made by others licensing the brand. Oh, the wiki is not bad, but could be clearer http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Braun_(company)

most of them understand the diff between utility and affectation, though, and classify most watches accordingly

i really think the restriction of screen sizes was something that Apple got right - hate that they're going in the other direction now

they really have no choice, like its cool and tidy to have just an iphone and an ipad but real world usage demands at least couple more sizes, on the other hand all those samsung sizes is a big reason why no one wants to develop for android

well, they're dropping the 4 and 4s eventually

which leaves them with 5/5s and one or two others depending on what they launch this fall

and two ipads

not the same thing

well, perhaps an "ipad pro" at some point too

and an iwatch

and an apple tv

and all the macs

FWIW I see a lot more big 5-6"+ phones over here in East Asia than I do iPhones now

Yeah - it's gonna be legacy 4/4S, 5/5S, theoretically two new sizes for 6 (though one of them might just be 5 size), and the iPad sizes do matter since most apps are universal now and it bloats up the app size as well. (+possible App Store for iWatch)

I guess I should be thankful App Store is separate for Mac and AppleTV

I see how the bigger, nicer screens will draw the public but still, screw all those other app stores
