yeah it was nearly verbatim abt getting rejected by x forms of technology...back in my day you could just assume the line was busy when he tried to call and go watch falcon crest.

also in that scene i swear it seemed like using ne-yo as the cool ref point was overdubbed, maybe just to keep it as current as possible if the ep was taped a while ago

The sound on the NBC Chicago airing (at least for us anyway) dropped out right after the "shut up mouth" line and didn't come back on until the tail end of the Harry and the Henderson viewing. I'm guessing that's why some of these jokes are just not ringing a bell with me at all.

i bought season one on dvd so i've been rewatching it and the store continually uses this xylophone (?) that sounds exactly like the default "you've got an IM" sound on the iphone, it's distracting

OK am watching the Greenzo episode which is still A++ and I just noticed something awesome. In the beginning where they're showing scenes from Kenneth's past parties and he and Liz are dressed as Harry Potter and Austin powers, the song they're dancing to is "Werewolf Bar Mitzvah". SO awesome. Werewolf Bar Mitsvah dancing dancing boys becoming men men becoming wolves etc.

The morning after party flashbacks (esp Jack's hair) are still some of the finest 20R moments ever.
