milk's bigger problem is that she's sort of invisible in challenges. her julia child was shockingly poor.

Yeah, Julia Child is one of those "how do you fuck that up" free squares of camp.

i really wasn't feeling ben until this week. she sorta has the opposite dynamic of milk, being really standout in challenges but mostly pedestrian and competent on the runway.

i find laganja (god, i hate that name) to be pretty tiresome. objectively speaking i don't think gia tried hard enough in the lip sync to win but there was something seriously overworked about laganja's jump-splits and shit. it was like watching the drag version of the star wars kid.

I think Milk's argument of stayimg true to her identity is kind of a crutch at some point. Why are you even on the show, otherwise. Sharon Needles was always getting a raft of shit for not being glam enough, Jinx too...there's a way to still kill it, adapt & not lose yr identity.

Not that Milk appears to be at that level, talentwise #juliachildyeesh

every bianca bit is the best but her line about gia's reveal in the lip sync ("everybody knows what you're doing, just take your shit off" or whatever) was incredible

The difference is that Sharon Needles' scary shit WAS glamorous beyond compare. Milk's is often just ... weird.

Drinking game for next episode: healthy swig every time you catch Bianca rolling her eyes in the corner of the frame.

Yeah, Ru's made it a point to observe multiple times this season that getting the audience to like you is crucial, and I think the problem with weirdness as Milk serves it (as opposed to Sharon) is that its primary point seems to be to tell her audience "betcha didn't see this coming." Fine once in awhile, but enough times and your audience is going to think you're calling them dumb.

Yeah Milk...I wonder a touch. This is one of those loaded roads to go down but given in boy life he's a clearly tall/strikingly good looking sort I get a little sense he's gone through life in a happier fashion than others and as a result his "Well I'll show THEM" moves might be a little more self-amusement than "gotta MAKE it!" Now having said that next week we'll get some hyper horrible backstory...

Speaking of which: poor Ben! I'm over three times as old as she was when she lost her mom and I'm definitely not ready to see mine go any time soon. I mean you compare that (and Trinity almost losing her mom) to Laganga's snit fits and I'm all "Count yer blessings, blondie."

I don't know but to fully appreciate how gorgeous and hot he is I really recommend that you watch his videos on youtube, especially "Dirty Mouth" and "I Hate My Job". Milk also has cameos in some of them.

Her face is beautiful, but I don't think she has the body to do naked drag like Carmen or Willam did. It breaks the illusion.

Still in the Untucked here. Surprisingly mellow main episode, I thought?

Courtney does have a very square, waistless man body. She was very, very funny, though, especially on Untucked.

Milk leaving before Laganja and Trinity was kind of a surprise. But although I liked her first couple of looks, she wasn't really bringing much to the show. And Trinity killed the lipsynch.

yeah i was surprised milk went home but for whatever interesting things she did on the runway it never transferred to the challenges where she was always mediocre or worse

and yeah trinity was really good at lip sync, it makes a bit more understandable how she always uses that as a crutch when she fails at singing/acting/rapping/being funny

adore is incredibly annoying but she's been really good in the last two challenges... she was amazing in this one in fact :(

That's the thing, she's been consistently good for the past few weeks. Unlike a fair amount of the already departed she can back all the talk up. (In comparison, Laganga starting to yelp more and more about how things aren't breaking her way even when they're 'supposed' to says it all.)

laganja is far and away my least favorite remaining contestant

Darienne not too far behind for me. Girl is getting shady, and not in a funny Bianca Del Rio way.

Bianca not winning the reading mini challenge was like a deliberate slap to her face.

The only thing that could've made that gif more otm would be to have Gang doing death drop after death drop after death drop in an endless loop of drag cliche.

I think it's Darienne who delivers that line that was in the intro to the first episode of the season growling about how she'll show versatility when Michelle does something and "Santino starts wearing a dress!" The editing made it seem like it was delivered directly to the judges and they didn't show who it actually was -- it's probably more of an Untucked grouse or something -- but she sure didn't sound like she was having fun.

The insecurity parade between Trinity and Laganja is a, wait for it, major DRAG on this season. Trinity looked fine as hell on the runway, though. Thing with her is that she's rarely as bad as she expects to be in these performances (excepting her rap).

I'm not getting a bittercakes vibe from Darienne, even in that mini-confrontation with Ben.

I was a little behind this week, finally caught up. yay!

I have definitely turned a corner on Adore, I think she's great and I'm so glad she won...she was so on point with her rap game.

Darienne's starting to show her true colors and she is not a very nice person imo. But I dunno if Ben is as sweetness and light as she's making herself out to be.

Can I just say that one of the things I love about the Lipsync for your Life challenge is the way that Michelle always sings along to all the songs. I like that about her. Oh and I lol'd at her whole 'TRACK NINE ON THE BODYGUARD SOUNDTRACK FYI'

oh and I was a bit sad to see Milk go but it wasn't heartbreaking. I kinda think that as shitty as Trinity is at almost everything else, she'll never go home while she has to lipsync. That she can do.

Coco and to a lesser extent Alyssa slayed in lipsyncs, though.
