So this NYT story "A Master of Illusion Endures: For Woody Allen's Next Trick, Shrugging Off Bad Publicity" (http://www.nytimes.com/2014/07/20/movies/for-woody-allens-next-trick-shrugging-off-bad-publicity.html) doesn't mention Dylan Farrow until halfway through, pretty much only to brush off concerns that the controversy will impact his box office, and is mostly a glowing profile of Allen and his films, pretty cool pretty cool

this thing is creepy right from the title - what a guy to praise in terms of his ability to deceive.

like even if you believe he's innocent, or just want to talk about his films as films, it's still extremely poor taste to defiantly valorize him in these "oh what a brilliantly pleasing but fraudulent stories he tells! What a trickster!" terms.
