It doesn't matter, I just read the rest of the parodies in that series (Dinosaur Comics, Natalie Dee, some others) and they all read the same way ie not really parodies as basically straightlaced fan tributes by someone who doesn't have any grasp of the nuances of the humour

i understand this thing must be onstad's primary or only means of income, but the thing is just spread too thin -- i get it that to make money you offer paid subscriptions, but premium membership twitter / blog / discussion / zine nonsense can only expand so far before it diverts value from the main product, yes?

I subscribed in 2007 and was pretty disappointed by the bonus content.

I think he's saving up the Little Nephew storyline so he can try to recreate the Great Outdoor Fight with a big rescue plot, which could go either way.
