i am outside the christchurch (nz) airport waiting for a shuttle.

some man just bought a coke from the vending machine and then said 'amazing machine eh'.

like his approach to life tbh

he was cheerful and likeable and quite sunburnt, i hope there's some aloe vera gel wherever he is.

At PDX today, we see the safest possible layout for a water bottle spout just inches away from the gaping maw of the hungry toaster. All powered by a non-ground-protected outlet.

I'm in an airport

The plane I'm supposed to take from JFK to LAX sucked a bird into the engine on landing at JFK, so I'm delayed until another plane comes in. JFK Terminal 5 Wi-Fi seems strong so far.

Severely annoyed that my fave bagel shop in Terminal 5 was nuked by the arrival of the CIBO behemoth.

Always baffled by people who get dressed up to get on a plane.

no kidding! if you're immediately going to a business meeting, I guess there is some motivation, but you really should be wearing comfortable, breathable clothes

montreal's bizarro, rarely-used, but kind of modernist masterpiece airport mirabel is finally getting torn down. they made a lot of movies there.

Dorval was only 20 minutes away from the city core while it took 50 minutes to get to Mirabel in ideal traffic conditions.

Will be in another airport heading back to central PA in about 12 hours.

i was supposed to be in an airport but my flight got cancelled while i was on my way, so now i've come back home and i'm hyping myself up for the 11 hour megabus journey i'll be taking in a few hours. lol.

I recommend being unconscious

i'm a seasoned veteran of comically long megabus journeys (longest being something like 13 hours i think), i can survive it as long as i don't have to sit near the toilet.

I once did like 16 or 18 hours from Vegas to Tucson. That was kind of insane.

I was stranded in Birmingham airport two days ago because Atlanta was shut down -- eeek that carpet.
