preferably around the st. vincent place & buchanan st. area

cozen (Cozen), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 21:46 (twenty years ago)

Bar 91?
The Brunswick Hotel Bar?
Republic Bierhalle?

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 21:51 (twenty years ago)

I don't know. Those are probably rubbish suggestions. I don't know anything good.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 21:52 (twenty years ago)

I don't think a lazy lunch can be had in a hour, by the way.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:12 (twenty years ago)

wagamama

but what alba said too.

jed_ (jed), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:19 (twenty years ago)

there's a nice cafe called cafe wander on west george st. the otherwise scary revolution bar across from the odeon is usually very quiet at lunch and does surprisingly good and cheap food (tho limited menu)

dahlin (dahlin), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:20 (twenty years ago)

cook was talking about this sharon jones, too

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:38 (twenty years ago)

I was talking about that one.

Alba (Alba), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:45 (twenty years ago)

dap-kings is a bit weird sounding

RJG (RJG), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:46 (twenty years ago)

You lot not off to bed yet?

KeefW (kmw), Tuesday, 4 October 2005 22:47 (twenty years ago)

KeefW (kmw), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 06:27 (twenty years ago)

Up with the larks, eh, Keith?

OK, I will let them off about the deposit. They seem like a nice bunch.

Dap-Kings maybe comes from Dap-Walk. We are not the wiser.

PJ Miller (PJ Miller 68), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 06:41 (twenty years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 16:43 (twenty years ago)

No you won't, he's not coming. Unless I have fuxored up the table-booking even MORE.

Cozen, did you find somewhere nice for lunch? I work near there and need some suggestions too (I shall be trying Cafe Wander tomorrow as it looks nice)

ailsa (ailsa), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 16:46 (twenty years ago)

No, he just decided to get tanked up on co-codamol and go to Burger King.

Alba (Alba), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 16:47 (twenty years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 16:51 (twenty years ago)

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 16:54 (twenty years ago)

oh sorry ailsa, no I didn't find anywhere - all I was looking for really was somewhere to sit with a coffee and my paper that wasn't starbucks or costa

I don't think there's really anywhere at that pace within the centre

cozen (Cozen), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 18:46 (twenty years ago)

heard about you

RJG (RJG), Wednesday, 5 October 2005 22:39 (twenty years ago)

I saw you:

see you friday

Do I amble? I never realised. I probably don't notice anyone when I amble.

I am going to the wedding of someone I don't know on Friday. I will try eating in Glasgow if it happens again.

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 6 October 2005 08:51 (twenty years ago)

I want to see photos of this picture of Chris Tarrant.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 09:26 (twenty years ago)

I will try to remember to take one.

(I was telling Al: this reception is in a Masonic Hall that has a picture of Her Majesty The Queen at one end and a picture of King Rubberfaced Twat at the other).

Onimo (GerryNemo), Thursday, 6 October 2005 09:40 (twenty years ago)

I will not be able to make it I'm afraid. Thanks for thinking of me. I'd very much like to come but I have an amusingly large amount of stuff on at the moment. Next time...

hmmm (hmmm), Thursday, 6 October 2005 09:57 (twenty years ago)

x-post

You definitely amble, Onimo - sort of a "got-all-the-time-in-the-world-nothings-that-important" type of amble. Its rather feaching, a modes of walking go.

I would like to see a picture of both pictures if possible - sort of a scan from Tarrant to the Queen. Take a video camera.

Guilty Boksen (Bro_Danielson), Thursday, 6 October 2005 10:31 (twenty years ago)

I've just remembered, doesn't Stacey get notification emails when someone posts to this thread?

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:21 (twenty years ago)

maybe

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:28 (twenty years ago)

maybe not

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

only she can tell us

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

I suppose

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

unless someone else knows

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

for definite

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

and so on

RJG (RJG), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:29 (twenty years ago)

I was sure she said once she did.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:31 (twenty years ago)

I just thought if that was the case, it'd be really bad to get so many mails about Gerry going to a wedding.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:32 (twenty years ago)

Or how he walks.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:32 (twenty years ago)

Which is definitely an amble, in my opinion.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:32 (twenty years ago)

She has nobody to blame but herself.

Mädchen (Madchen), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:35 (twenty years ago)

Well, quite.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:38 (twenty years ago)

Although that could be construed as harsh.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:39 (twenty years ago)

I mean, I'm sure once she xplained why she did it, and it wasn't that bad a reason.

aldo_cowpat (aldo_cowpat), Thursday, 6 October 2005 12:39 (twenty years ago)
