Great thread, but once again another frustrating thread because not all photos are named and I'd like to know who some of them are; there are a lot of dead links so I might be giving examples that were in some pictures previously.
Surprised there is no Salma Hayek, Katie Jane Garside (Daisy Chainsaw), Alison Shaw (Cranes). Katie Holmes.
Christina Ricci looked fooking astonishing in Buffalo 66 and Pecker. Apparently the director of B66 complained she looked fat after the film came out but the sight of her is what makes that film for me.
I think Alicia Witt is up there somewhere, but not sure if it is her. I was a bit annoyed she was passed over to play Mary Jane in Raimi's Spiderman films. I think she was a contender for a little while.
Some actresses not so famous in english speaking places: Deborah Caprioglio (Paprika), Maggie Cheung, Joey Wong, Brigitte Lin.
I think Julia Louis-Dreyfuss probably gave millions of people crushes but I dont know if she was a figure of mad lust like a lot of the people posted on the thread.
I probably should have pictures but I think my photobucket account somehow died and I hate most of these photolink sites with their restrictions.
Thankyou to those who posted Danica Mckellar and Zia McCabe, I'd never seen them before.
I often see really stunning modern day foreign actresses in imdb lists, but cant be bothered watching lots of films; I've got less and less patience for feature length films these days, especially just to watch one person.
I really like finding out about actresses who are really well known to some people in a different culture but unknown to me. I only ever seen Laura San Giacomo on forums in the last 10 years; I guess this was before the UK got every show that was popular in America.
I discovered Meg Tilly and was utterly mesmerized. I dont know why she isnt more famous. Why I did I have to discover her by accident when watching too much tv?
Saw Gaby Hoffman recently in Girls and Louie; I think she looks amazing, she has a really fascinating look.
Some hero posted a picture of Michelle Meyrink in the Tangerine Dream thread and now I have to watch some films I probably wouldnt otherwise.
Elizabeth Berridge from Amadeus and Tobe Hooper's Funhouse is another kind of recent one for me.
Can we have a picture thread for other decades? Is it too soon to have an 00s picture thread?
Old horror actresses: Edna Tichenor, Barbara Steele, Luan Peters, Twins Of Evil girls, Carroll Borland, Frances Drake
70s: Tina Romero, Sandra Julien (I could pick loads who overlapped into soft porn, so I'll stop)
80s: Phoebe Cates, Ally Sheedy, Jennifer Jason Leigh
00s: Paz Lenchantin, Meadow from Sopranos, Parminder Nagra, Amy Acker, Shirley Henderson, that girl in The Page Turner, that girl in A Common Thread
Maybe Mads Mikkelsen, Michael Shannon, Vincent Kartheiser, Mia Wasikowska, Eva Green, Anne Hathaway, Amanda Seyfried, Alia Shawkat, Hannah Murray, Alison Lohman, Christina Hendricks, Alison Brie, Kat Dennings, Paula Garces and Natalie Portman will be considered more of this decade than the last?
Also that cute math girl from Micmacs (and the girl from the video shop who is seen all too briefly).
I better stop before I start writing an encyclopedia.

On thinking of what epitomises the 90s I think light heardted kid/family friendly comedies with A, B and C list actors srping to mind...
Home Alone, Uncle Buck, Karate Kid, Baby's Day Out, 3 Ninjas (or was it 3 Little Ninjas?), Goonies, Police Academy, Short Circuit, Cocoon, 3 Men And A Baby, Look Who's Talking, Honey I shrunk The Kids, etc (some of these are maybe from the 80s).
Also Bart Simpson and stuff like this...
