I was gonna comment on The Popstarz Debate but then I realised that I like and dislike club nights entirely on the basis of whether or not they let me in when I was underage, which is kinda useless to, y'know, adults.

Well to be fair the GA'll probably be a five-song PA or something. But Ria and I are treating it as an hors d'oeuvre for the MAIN TOUR in May!

they've existed for some time now. Camden Palace actually did one of the bigger ones for ages featuring Ratpack live etc. regularly.

think there was something at The Arches a few weeks back too, old skool vs new skool breaks sort of thing.

Butlins are doing some big 90s revival thing at their camps where the likes of Baby D play as well as a lot of rub pop stuff. madness...

i want to go to Dublin, and Black Strobe would be a good excuse, but it might be too soon i'll see...

My friend has been to a couple of places selling themselves as "old school rave" but has reported back that they are really actually rub, so I'd be careful about which venue you choose. Alternatively just HAVE A FOOKIN' HOUSE PARTY with "Rave Nation 92".

ten years pass...

This isn’t the right place to share this I guess but I just found out that Matt Tolfrey is no longer with us. His name is synonymous with me for London, Leeds and midlands clubbing mid 00s to mid 10s. I had some very fond memories of him playing and the energy he brought. His Fabric mix of 2015 is a very good CD of the series. Rest in peace.
