I had plenty of LOLs. The awesome staredown between Rudd and the little One Direction fan, Jebediah, Sharpton, the riffy last sketch, even healthy Santa Claus. Yeah, Michelangelo and the White Christmas Movie ones were dumb, but still...

Sharpton skit was terrible.

Jebediah was fantastic.

Sounded like 1D were going for their Mumford album.

Jebediah was good and appreciated the meta moment referring to his only been on 3 weeks ago, but it seemed like a page out of that Kristen Wiig character, Aunt Linda, who did movie reviews. Wonder if it was written by the same person.

I felt like it was the Cecily episode. She was everywhere. The script with her past lovers was my favorite of the evening. But I don't know about Weekend Update, I'm usually a sucker for it and have mostly found the past few years w/ Seth to be pretty dependable. I noticed this week and last I think were the first with a different writer, with no material from Seth? I felt like these two weeks were particularly bad. I'm not complaining about Cecily's delivery, but the writing seems to have dropped off. I see the guy who wrote it these last two weeks has been on for years, but maybe Seth used to also contribute and has stopped in advance of his leaving?

Jebediah should stick to historical material. gimmick works way better when there's a writers geeking out quality to it.

Yeah, the Update jokes were really flimsy. I like Vanessa's little Jacob character (sometimes her accent slips into fake-British) and Jebediah was fun. Is Seth back for any episodes in the new year, or is he spending January getting ready for his show?

Jesus Christ, that Michaelangelo sketch. Only real punchline in it (besides Jay Pharaoh mugging down the camera lens saying "Kill yourself!") was a less funny version of a famous Simpsons joke ("And, uh, incidentally, thanks for not making fun of my genitalia." ― Montgomery Burns / "I thought I did." ― Marge Simpson)

The Rudd-as-a-1D-fanatic thing was such a wasted opportunity I thought.

Jebediah turned out way better than I would have expected for an snl character based on Dr Morbius

I'd love to see them get someone like Danitra Vance. They need to go back to having more people with non-improv stage backgrounds.

This season, controversy swirled around the show’s lack of female African American cast members, but journalists failed to note that the “SNL” cast also had no Latinos and no Asians.

In fact, in the show’s 39 seasons, it has never had a Latina cast member. Only two Latinos have ever been hired as cast members: Chilean American Horatio Sanz, who left the show in 2006, and Fred Armisen, whose mother is Venezuelan and who left the cast last season .

Drake is really funny! SNL should hire him and curtail his rap career -- like Will Smith without the crap Oscarbait post-apocalypse sci-fi.

I mean, The Fresh Prince was funny before he went mersh/scieno; maybe Drake's latent Bar Mitzvah Boy has better things in store.

Bayer's poetry teacher wasn't as good as last time; the gulps/verbal tics felt forced.

Drake was great, best host of the year so far, shit, best cast member so far.

Zamata's timing was amazing.

Still don't know who most of the other new guys are. When AT&T Guy comes on I assume it's a commercial. Except he's not as funny as he is in the commercials. And he's not funny in the commercials.

i enjoyed the performance of aubrey drake graham in this episode of saturday night live

i caught only the news (pretty good as always) and the skit with drake and nasim p. in some kind of disney live show? was kind of unbearable. but i guess i should hulu this huh.

Haven't seen the show in years until this episode. Loved the Bieber quick-shifts from shrug to pose.

I was thinking last night that when Seth's last episode comes around in a couple weeks, Hader's coming back to do Stefon right? It's inevitable.

indiana jones was prob weakest skit of the night but Drake worked it admirably. I kinda feel that Aidy doesn't have the greatest range, but she kills it, great in that slumber party skit.

episode was stolen by Taran's Eminem. That whole skit was great.

ugh, i was hoping for mulaney. maybe his sitcom will be good.

He wrote some of the best update bits, so that's a good sign.

Mooney is funny but he doesn't strike me as an update anchor type. the fact that this guy has worked on the show for almost 10 years and was never put in the camera in any significant way seems weird, but i guess we'll see if he's good.
