i was excited to hear that universal studios cali is getting a harry potter add-on, since geography-wise i'm much more likely to make it there than florida. but of course just like disneyland vs. WDW, the cali version is probably going to be postage-stamp sized.

yesssssss assuming all the snow in oregon doesn't stop us, me & my sisters are going down to disneyland for three days next week. first time since 2011 so we'll finally get to see this "land of cars."

Making the trip down the week after Easter. The GF is suuuuuuuper excited because she hasn't been since she was a kid (this'll be my fourth time as an adult). Can't wait to drink a bunch of plum wine and ride Soarin' again.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is the best thing at Disneyland and one reason I now prefer the original over Disney World despite growing up in Florida.

Pubs, pizzas and hell. You can't go wrong.

at Disney World there were two tracks on Mr. Toad's Wild Ride and no matter which one you took you died and went to hell

I love Mr Toad. It's so fun. Also: Mr Veg & I went together not long after we first met. I had only been once before as a teenager but my friends were all too cool to go on many of the rides so this time I was on a mission to go on every single ride. Including Storybook Land :D

Mr Veg hunched in a tiny gondola surrounded by toddlers and their parents as we toured the dioramas & sailed through the mouth of jonah the whale is one of my favorite memories.

he was NOT happy lol

1 1/2 weeks out from spring break in Orlando! Will be my first time checking out the re-vamped Fantasyland and the Harry Potter stuff at Islands of Adventure.
