trying to find a post that said something along the lines of:
"people are against gay marriage because they envy the childless existence gays get to live."

Wasn't there a thread with a title like "recursive thread is recursive" that just consisted of endless links to itself? Did I dream that or did it have another title? Would have been in about 2003/4 or so.

it's about a certain sort of pronouncement people make where it's obviously supposed to be a no big deal kinda big deal (not a humblebrag exactly because it's not anything to do with an achievement or anything and not exactly a challop either)

it has an amazing sequence of posts by ice cr?m/lag∞n where he reformats these sorts of statement in accusatory 2nd person

xp... there was a post like that, right?! maybe ten years ago? and it got referenced a few times after...

you could be right, but I plugged in every variant of "tittays" I could think of and came up empty every time

i tried too... i'm obviously misremembering but someone posted a funny phrase like this during a discussion of summer weather.
