its funny if you ever read the imgur comments they are exactly the same style as reddit, i was unsure until i read that piece whether or not they were just being pulled off reddit or what, btw that article is written by someone who is in way too deep

The best way to disrupt imgur is to use one of the Google Chrome extensions

Whatever the most popular one is on the Google App store sucks now

I use "imgur uploader" instead

I actually have a three-tiered process for posting images:

PHOTOBUCKET: Images I want to manage, my personal library of items I haven't created, looking for long-term.

IMAGESHACK: Long term storage, images not kept in a library that I can later come back to anyway, not exactly tied to a username.

Dropbox is just scary. drop it into a folder on your desktop and link it to the world? Too easy, something's up.

I save images to my Dropbox because I think "man, this is a classic ILX meme, I'm going to be deploying this a lot I know it"

I like imgur for ILX because it already puts the [Removed Illegal Image][/img]....

The imgur chrome extension uses the OSX "grab" API or w/e and it lets you screencap or partially screencap painlessly

I don't know anything about written languages other than my primary, but it even looks more like ping pong.
