All their cereals are really sweet.

ya this is SO sweet and SO fruity but in the worst way, like in a way granola ought not be. Berry granola is fine and vanilla almond granola is fine but mango passion granola, this granola is NOT FINE

I like the mango passion granola, but in a guilty pleasure kind of way.

tj plain old shredded wheat is...not the best. those shits are chewy as hell

I've not chewed shit. So I can't compare shredded wheats on that criteria

i'm liking both the hummus and the pita chips in the hummus snack pack.

I love the chocolate hazelnut cookies. They remind me of *something* I used to eat growing up in Minnesota in the early 1980s but I can't for the life of me figure out what.

I bought some of the vanilla/cinnamon/lemur black tea - I really enjoy it, plus it is fun to tell my daughter that lemurs are, of course, the most festive mammal of all.

In case you want a turkey tomorrow and are unbelievably behind...I sampled their fully cooked roasted turkey and it was amazing, I didn't know it was possible for turkey to get that tender. It's not cheap though (almost $4/lb).

Bought some black garlic at TJs and am trying to figure out what to do with it.

Their crazy OTT seasonal dark chocolate bark (with, like, everything) basically tasted like nothing.

All of their tortillas fall apart when I try to use them for tacos, and the flour tortillas have an odd naan-like taste.

I like their handmade tortillas, but they can be ridiculously thick around the edges and have that naan taste, too.

the chile-onion flour tortillas are pretty good!

also digging:

-dried green beans (they have these stocked next to the potato chips, popcorn, etc.)
-no-sugar-added dark chocolate with almonds
-the greens+ energy bars
-the prepared boneless/skiness roasted chicken strips, because shut up, that's why

i'm still mourning the loss of my beloved green curry tuna, but tj's sai tung green curry & red gaba rice is pretty good, at least as good as what you'd get at the vegan thai joints around here.

I could murder a box of green curry tuna but before they dropped it I was starting to notice the sweetness and not as much...something. Dunno. So hungry right now.

i tried the soyrizo... I had v low expectations but dayum that stuff is good!

What kind of sauce and cheese? I find that TJ's block cheeses are pretty great (big ups to the X-tra X-tra Sharp New York Cheddar), all of the shredded ones I've tried have been horribly bland (Mexican, mozzarella, etc) with the exception of the sharp cheddar.

The chicken fried rice is pretty great, but the chimichurri rice is EXCELLENT, esp when you mix a protein in. I had some leftover shredded pork and it was so supreme.

peanut butter chips are next level, totally upped my daily trail mix game

What kind of sauce and cheese?

I've been kind of lazy with it, tried enchilada sauce (bland) and kind of intuitively whipped up tomato and adobo sauce (better), I plan to make cilantro pesto next... For cheese I've actually been going with Mexican "Quesadilla cheese" from the super market - I just use a little bit in slices (like a margherita pizza) and throw on some mushrooms, soyrizo and sliced red jalapenos.

I am an advocate of the Bimbimbap
