things have not been so good here, what if the winds of fashion have left this trend behind?? :(

j., Monday, 21 October 2013 04:59 (twelve years ago)

I must admit I may have turned a corner on this trend.

emilys., Monday, 21 October 2013 20:42 (twelve years ago)

too little, too late

mh, Monday, 21 October 2013 20:46 (twelve years ago)

I feel I need to not express my positive thoughts on this fashion statement, because I don't want to objectify women or, in doing so, keep women out of this discussion/thread.

I will say one thing:

Yum.

In the sense that I don't have to wear office clothes anymore and it's glorious and I never want to go back to tight dresses, fine, but otherwise while I have kinda come around on leggings, I prefer wildly patterned ones.

Tottenham Heelspur (in orbit), Monday, 21 October 2013 20:52 (twelve years ago)

The only boots I ever want to see are kick-ass ones, not schlubby dirty fuzzy ones.

Tottenham Heelspur (in orbit), Monday, 21 October 2013 20:53 (twelve years ago)

Like ones with spikes on them? KISS style?

When I say I turned a corner, I mean I kind of realized this isn't a proper thing to wear out in public. But I am still doing it because comfy.

emilys., Monday, 21 October 2013 21:05 (twelve years ago)

That looks like it might possibly be a very clingy dress? But approved either way

emilys., Monday, 21 October 2013 21:05 (twelve years ago)

no, I believe it is some kind of bodysuit

mh, Monday, 21 October 2013 21:11 (twelve years ago)

Oh man, I saw September someone wearing some hideously patterned leggings at the grocery store yesterday. And by 'hideous' that different mean I didnt fully approve.

how's life, Monday, 21 October 2013 21:15 (twelve years ago)

September, wtf

how's life, Monday, 21 October 2013 21:16 (twelve years ago)

I recently saw someone wearing leggings that had some kind of internet cat meme design

Moodles, Monday, 21 October 2013 21:17 (twelve years ago)

This is nice in a 'cute' way, but not in the same league as leggings.

c21m50nh3x460n, Monday, 21 October 2013 21:41 (twelve years ago)

yes, in orbit! something along those lines.

how's life, Monday, 21 October 2013 22:04 (twelve years ago)

i just ordered my first pair of black leggings for fall/winter

set the controls for the heart of the sun (VegemiteGrrl), Monday, 21 October 2013 22:22 (twelve years ago)

Lat weekend my wife and I were at the zoo and saw some woman in these crazily patterned leggings, they were like white with orange and green diamonds all over them. Maybe they might work in a particular context, but with just a t-shirt or whatever she had on with them they simply looked bonkers.

My question is primarily riparian (Phil D.), Monday, 21 October 2013 22:23 (twelve years ago)

daym if i were female seeing that jumpsuit mh has posted would have been a fashion revelation for me.

Merdeyeux, Monday, 21 October 2013 23:11 (twelve years ago)

The cross of St Peter is a nice anti-Christian touch.

It's a nice conversation started, because she is being vague about whether or not she is anti-Christian or if she just thought that outfit was 'cute'.

c21m50nh3x460n, Monday, 21 October 2013 23:28 (twelve years ago)

are inverted crosses the new triangle?

wk, Monday, 21 October 2013 23:53 (twelve years ago)

otm

Emperor Cos Dashit (Adam Bruneau), Monday, 21 October 2013 23:57 (twelve years ago)

tiny white inverted crosses as a pattern are everywhere! they have stuff with that pattern at forever 21!

1 P.3. Eternal (roxymuzak), Monday, 21 October 2013 23:59 (twelve years ago)

Ya. There are a few small clothing companies here with that pattern.

I've not been in Forever 21 in a while. They sell men's clothing now, right?

c21m50nh3x460n, Tuesday, 22 October 2013 01:45 (twelve years ago)

I'm holding out for my pentagram leggings.

emilys., Tuesday, 22 October 2013 01:52 (twelve years ago)

If you accidentally post it on this thread I would not object.

c21m50nh3x460n, Tuesday, 22 October 2013 01:56 (twelve years ago)

perhaps i spoke too soon

j., Thursday, 24 October 2013 22:45 (twelve years ago)

oh, had my first sighting of tight black leggings this season, but they were with black knee-high rainboots.

how's life, Thursday, 24 October 2013 22:54 (twelve years ago)

i see lots of this but not in "foofy" boots, usually just regular leather boots now.

Me & Mahomies (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Thursday, 24 October 2013 23:08 (twelve years ago)

i don't really think someone with your dn need feel any discomfort about just saying 'foofy'

j., Thursday, 24 October 2013 23:09 (twelve years ago)

yeah, I was drawing the line a bit to the outfield in that the boots I saw were uggs but not particularly goofy

mh, Thursday, 24 October 2013 23:25 (twelve years ago)

discomfort?

Me & Mahomies (Spottie_Ottie_Dope), Thursday, 24 October 2013 23:35 (twelve years ago)

'disfoomffort'

j., Thursday, 24 October 2013 23:36 (twelve years ago)

ahhh

The worst.

Airwrecka Bliptrap Blapmantis (ENBB), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:35 (twelve years ago)

I know I've had a huge crush on at least one woman who carried one but I can't place her and the bag was definitely not central.

Doctor Casino, Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:43 (twelve years ago)

haha i love you guys

1 P.3. Eternal (roxymuzak), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:46 (twelve years ago)

hah actually i don't really care one way or the other about the longchamp - i had mistakenly thought this thread was about chronicling trends

乒乓, Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:49 (twelve years ago)

totally at least partially is!

1 P.3. Eternal (roxymuzak), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:53 (twelve years ago)

and also this bag totally is carried by a high % of leggings/foof-combo wearers

1 P.3. Eternal (roxymuzak), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:54 (twelve years ago)

THIS THREAD IS FOR VERY SPECIFIC IMPORTANT TRENDS WHICH INVOLVE TIGHT BLACK LEGGINGS OK

j., Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:55 (twelve years ago)

A high % of the legging and boot wearing longchamp carriers also wear pearl earrings ime.

Airwrecka Bliptrap Blapmantis (ENBB), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:57 (twelve years ago)

pearl earrings and this other stuff are v much sorority signifiers i guess (perhaps obv)

1 P.3. Eternal (roxymuzak), Thursday, 7 November 2013 03:59 (twelve years ago)

I def see the bag, the tights and the boots together frequently. But those bags seem very "summer" to me so cross post with IA thread pls
