i guess i could just jump in. i have some seltzer and chinese leftovers in the fridge. i'm gonna add some ppl on facebook and post some steve jobs-related stuff 'cause he died two years ago today. maybe i'll listen to a podcast while folding laundry.

I am having a markers-like saturday

I upgraded the OS on my computers

glad to have the past three Saturday nights off! boredom relished as relief...

um,
- just bought a bacon and green pepper pizza which I ate two-thirds of - am listening to the new Food Pyramid, then probably Vatican Shadow, and maaaybe Laurel Halo
- typing some stuff up
- later, plan on reading. I picked up two Claude Simon novels, will probably do my best to put a dent in one of those
- if not, maybe some Katherine Mansfield short stories instead
- or perhaps I'll watch Wreck It Ralph

-really good chicken katsu don for dinner
-enough said, which i liked even though it made me weep for humanity
-quality time with the cat

- early dinner at a weird restaurant
- made pie dough in advance to attempt apple pie tomorrow
- reading Gus Russo's 'The Outfit', drafting my own plans for a moneymaking racket

Thai curry soup for dinner. Cronut and cupcakes for dessert.

Watched some episodes of Next Great Baker and now watching Evil Dead.

Dinner and Scrabble. Was bewitched by the fact that my letters spelled CUNTIES and finally asked my opponent if it was OK if I just put CUNTIES because I couldn't find a bingo otherwise. BF takes one look and says "COUNTRIES you asshole"

I got out of work early so I actually got some good sleep for once. Also got a chance to finish moving the bulk of my laptop music library to a thumb drive. I have approx 20 albums on my main hard drive; I had to fight hard the urge to start a meaningless Sunday morning poll about them

i also just had breakfast and it's almost four at night

going to a cookout tonight, which is an extremely sociable thing for me to do compared to an average Saturday

- sitting inside watching other people's fireworks through the window, and the rain, and the trees
- was listening to tobin sprout until the cd player decided to stop working
- have been intending to watch some kind of online course thing any time now since 8 hours ago, not quite got round to it yet

heading to my friends' place to watch Serpico in a few hours

i would eat the hell out of some eggs. i don't have any in the house. scrambled egg whites sound really good right about now.

i want poached eggs

for some reason I was never really able to eat eggs as a kid, I'd get bad stomach cramps for hours. my adult life has been improved by my ability to digest eggs.
